붓꽃 독백 - 이밤의 끝을 부여잡고

밤 11시 5분 이밤은 잠을 못이룰것 같다.

지나간 잔혹한 시간들이 주마등처럼 스쳐지나간다.

아이도 울고 그 아이의 장모도 울고 그 아이의 이모도 울고 나도 울고 우리는 다 울었다.

5년이란 인고의 시간뒤에 비로소 아이는 해내고 말았다.

정부의 해당부처 웹사이트에 그아이의 이름과 면허번호가 정식으로 올라와 있었다.

믿기지 않지만 사실 이었고 두눈으로 확인하고 또 확인을 수도 없이 했다.

분명히 그 아이의 이름과 사는 도시가 올라와 있었다.

내일은 며느리 아이가 다시 이사를 하는 관계로 아이들은 늦게 아래 동네 해군기지 도시에서

올라오고 저녁에는 그동안 아이를 믿어주고 기다려준 모든 친구들이 모여 술을 한잔 하자고

한다고 하여서 그러라고 했다. 한국에서 부터 온천지 친구들이 아이의 합격소식에 난리 아닌

난리가 났다. 차분해지자고 아이가 그런다.

내일 제일 먼저 나는 차를 홀로 몰고 먼곳에 있는 아이의 엄마 산소와 아이의 외조부모

산소를 찾아가 장미꽃을 내려놓고 그간의 모든 슬픔과 고통과 고독을 내려놓고 오려고 한다.

긴 기다림과 인고의 세월끝에 유종의 미를 거둘수 있어 감사하다. 비로소 내 어깨에 내 인생

마지막 큰짐이 내려진 느낌이다. 아이 부부 앞날의 행복을 기원할뿐 그 이상도 그 이하도

이제는 더 내가 바라는 것이 없다.

비로소 이제 나도 나의 삶을 살아갈것이고 남은 내 인생을 즐기며 도전하며 

그리고 아빠 헨리의 남은 여생 옆에서 청지기가 되어 지켜드리고 살아갈것이다.

그리고 다시 내년봄 모교 대학원에 진학하고 또 다시 한단계 도약하고 싶다.

다시 밤을 지새우고 직장 다니고 아빠 헨리 돌보며 해내고 싶다.
